The Crown Beauty Of Mercedes-Benz: G63 AMG 6×6

The Crown Beauty Of Mercedes-Benz: G63 AMG 6x6

When seeing the G 63 AMG 6×6 pickup truck you have no doubt in your mind what the true purpose of the car is. The really large tires attached to the three axles, with the huge ground clearance, the height is almost 2.30 meters and with a width of  2.10 meters as well as with clean-cut lines of the pickup instantly demands respect! When you see this vehicle on the road, you don’t look at it as you would look at a pickup truck but more than you would look at a tank.

This vehicle is a very luxury sports car, as I like to call it the crown beauty of Mercedes AMG series, you won’t find another car like this one. One of its many, many traits is the incredible characteristic of the incredible interior.. The G 63 AMG 6×6 welcomes you  aboard to the exclusive ambience of a classic red or light brown design leather with  contrasting topstitching and attractive diamond-pattern quilting. The four seats of the car are all  electrically adjustable and all of the seats are heated and ventilated ( talk about looks and comfort, this car has them all ). The back compartment is fitted with a special centre console while the roof liner and pillars are fitted in Alcantara leather covering, this fancy leather gives the car it’s amazing elegancy while maintaining its sport like appearance. The rear panel is trimmed in leather.

The two G 63 AMG 6×6 vehicles which have been built to date were designed with Mercedes-Benz at the helm. The Graz-based Mercedes-Benz G-Class development department is the centre of competence for all “G” projects and is responsible fordevelopment and series support of the legendary cross-country vehicle. Graz in Austria has been the main production site for all civilian and commercial G-Class vehicles since 1979 and onwards. The response to the near-series show vehicle will determine if and when the Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6×6 will enter its small-series production.

The G 63 AMG 6×6 was originally intended for military use, The giant car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has announced they will be applying a 6×6 all-wheel drive to their high-performance AMG G-class line  making the car the company’s second most expensive model behind the SLS electric.

Despite the fact the car weight is about almost 4000kg (approximately 8818.49 pounds), and being fitted with the standard 37 inch wheels, the AMG G63 SUV is has been fitted with a twin-turbocharged 5.5 litre V8 engine, boasting and incredible 536 horsepower and 560 pound-feet of torque bringing it from 0-100 km/h (60mph) in just over 6 seconds. This beast is equipped with  a 7 speed automatic gear-box and five locking differentials gives full ride control – where compressor tanks for its tire inflation system give the vehicle the ability to travel in any conditions, regardless of the terrain. Unlike military cockpits, the G63 is adorned in typical AMG fashion – with full Alcantara leather interiors, heavily contoured sport seats and a spacious rear passenger cabin.

Bob is fan of luxury cars. He purchased a couple of years ago a Mercedes truck and since then, the only brand that he likes and recomends is Mercedes-Benz. Bob wrote enjoys trucks and also enjoys reading about them on http://www.coopskw.com/
